At our 2023 Holiday Luncheon our chapter members wear R.E.D. hats to Remember Everyone Deployed

Welcome to the Elias Kent Kane Chapter, NSDAR website!

We are based in St. Charles, Kane County, Illinois and are one of two National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) chapters in Kane County. This site was created for women like you, who are either already a member of DAR or are looking for information on how to become a member.

Our chapter follows the mission of NSDAR and promotes patriotism, historic preservation, and education through meaningful service in our communities, nation, and across the globe.

Each member of DAR has done extensive genealogical research to identify and prove lineage to her Patriot ancestor.   We come from diverse experiences but share a unique connection.

We have a team of volunteers, including our chapter registrar, ready to help you in your search for information on your family trees.  Whether you are new to DAR or are an existing member working on a new application to prove an additional Patriot in your lineage, we are here for you.

Please contact us for more information on how to become a member.
